events

Life is meant to be lived with others. When you connect in community, you focus on others and establish meaningful relationships that will last a lifetime. At Vista, it is important to us that we are busy! Whether that's within our cell groups, here in Kaufman County, or across the world, below are some upcoming and ongoing events in the life of Vista.

  • c3 weekend - 1/12/18 to 1/14/18

C3 Weekend is for 7th- 12th grade students. It begins Friday night, January 12th and runs through Sunday morning, January 14th. All activities will take place at The Barn in Combine. The cost is $35 for a t-shirt, lodging and all meals for the weekend. This will be a great weekend for discipleship and serving the community! Online registration is closed. Please contact Clint Scott for info - clint@collinswalker.com

  • Pray it forward

Starting January 21st we will begin a 50-day prayer emphasis based on the model prayer given by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. We believe that God hears our prayers and moves on behalf of His people. During this prayer emphasis we will learn how to pray, pray for one another daily and pray for lives to be changed in our community, through the churches we start and through our mission partnerships around the world.

  • Community Prayer Walk

To conclude our 50-day prayer emphasis called "Pray It Forward," we will be conducting a community-wide prayer walk on Sunday, March 4th.

  • vista youth - Sunday nights @ 6

7th through 12th grade students meet every Sunday night at 6 PM at The Barn in Combine! This is a time for students to bond, play silly games, worship, and discover Christ in their own and each others lives through discipleship. Visit the Vista Youth Facebook page to get a deeper look into what goes on at youth!

  • rect - first sunday of the month

RECT stands for Reaching and Engaging Community Teens. The first Sunday of every month, Vista Youth meets at the Heartland Sports Field to play games and build their relationships. Our hope is that we can reach students who may not know about Vista Youth and get them involved in this awesome group of kids!
