Each week we want you to feel right at home. We know that your first time visiting a church can bring up many questions. Here, you will find the answers to some of our most commonly asked questions. If you have any other questions that aren't answered, please send us an email at kevincox@thisisvista.com.com. We hope to see you soon!

Vista Church now has two services to choose from!

We meet at 9:30AM & 11:00AM on Sunday mornings at:

    Hollis T. Dietz Elementary School

    2080 Sunnybrook Dr.

    Heartland, TX 75126.

The entrance to our worship meeting is at the back of the school.

  • what should i wear?

We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than what you wear. Most people dress in casual weekend attire, so dress how you feel comfortable and you'll fit right in.

  • what do i do when i get there?

Once you park, you will be welcomed by our friendly greeters! If you have any initial questions, they will be happy to direct you. Once inside, feel free to grab some coffee from our coffee station. This is also the time to check your kids into Camp Vista (more information below). Once you're ready, you can head into the cafeteria and find a seat! If it looks full, or you're not sure where to sit, there are greeters waiting at the back to help you find a spot.

  • What do i do with my kids?

Children are important to us at Vista Church. We do not see them as the future church, but as the present church. So, we have created a special time of worship and Bible study geared specifically for children ages two - sixth grade,  called Camp Vista. Your children will sing songs of worship to God, play crazy games, and learn about Jesus through grade-orientated Bible studies. The bottom line: your children will love it!

  • What about my teenagers?

On Sundays, everyone 7th grade and older usually attends the worship service with the adults. Vista Youth meets most Sundays in Combine at 6:00 PM. This is where the kids can worship together, have Bible study, and have a time to bond with their peers. Vista Youth also hosts RECT - Reaching & Engaging Community Teens- the first Sunday of every month at the Heartland Sports Field.

  • what can i expect at your service?

We want you to feel like part of the family, but we will never single you out. You will find a Connection Card in your chair. This is our initial way of communicating with you. Fill it out at any time during the worship gathering and place it in the offering basket when they are passed around at the end of the gathering. It's that easy!

Our worship is simple and relevant. The music is joyful and upbeat while the message is stretching and practical.

Finally, after the worship time is over, stick around and meet some new people! Chat with our pastor, Kevin and his wife, Kathy, about the direction and vision of our church. We hope that this time becomes the best part of your week!
